Our Mission
We started Larewa to give people clear, practical skincare guidance without the sales pitch. Navigating thousands of products, conflicting social media trends, and expensive consultations makes finding a good routine frustrating.
We built a library of free tools based on published dermatology research and cosmetic chemistry, so you can check your skin type, calculate SPF reapplication intervals, or analyze ingredient conflicts — direct answers, no products pushed.
Our Story
Larewa started with a final-year project at KNUST, formulating soap, cream, shampoo, and lip balm from scratch.
That project meant weeks of testing pH levels, calculating preservative concentrations, and cross-checking ingredient interactions by hand — work that should have taken hours, not weeks, if the right tools existed. They didn’t. Every calculator was either locked behind a paywall, buried in a textbook, or simply didn’t exist.

What began as a way to make one formulation project easier grew into a collection of more than 30 free tools now used by thousands of readers every month, from skin type quizzes to ingredient safety checkers.
